So much work, all gone to hell, and for what reason? Fear of the primitive idea of 'the big bad wolf'?

The Montana wolf population is estimated at around 500, and they want a quota of 75 this year? I think that's way too many, way too fast.

(There. better?)

I'd like to see one of the hunter's family members hunted down for every wolf they hunt down and kill.

Hiydon...This is just the kind of post...Wolf discussion does not need & why it is obsolete

Predators have always been on the human hitlist. Wolves were once early human's best friend. Without them, little Fido sleeping in the next room would not exist. Since the fact that many breeds of dog loved by humans look identical to wolves and some behaviors are exactly like wolves, it amazes me that humans feel no remorse when they shoot down whole packs.

How can we manage wolves without the wolves hunting sheep? Llamas, donkeys, and even dogs have been used successfully to ward off predators. To have a sustainable environment, we need the predators to control the overpopulated prey.

I just don't get why after 11 years of hard work and ONLY 3500 wolves in the lower 48, that the government has decided to approve this massacre now.
