All that said, I know new breeds have been made. I haven’t added to this since the last time I looked, and I don’t really consider it my job to babysit how many breeds there are. If you want your breed on here, you need to post and put up the necessary information.
IE: Breed name. Alliance (Light, neutral, evil), Active or Inactive, if there are only so many available (limited) and if so you need to say if there are still some spots open. And please link to the information you had made either on this site or otherwise.
If you see your breed on here and don’t want it on here, just say so and I will remove it. But keep your mind open that people might check this list and think there’s nothing like what they’re making then end up creating a breed like yours. If you want me to link your breed (or person or pack for that matter) to a different link than is attached, just post here and tell me it’s a new link for so and so and I will edit.
Basically this runs just like the Names Thread, only with breeds. xD
The point of this thread is easily summed up. Because dear Cerby said it best….
Keep in mind that WW has been around for a long time, and that a lot of these roleplayers have been active for nearly six years--they deserve the species they've worked so hard to create.
Also, remember that many of us are more than willing let anyone roleplay what ever they want, so don't be afraid to PM the owner about the species! We have this system set up so that we can assure fairness for the roleplayers who have spent so long developing these species, and for the new members who can be so easily taken advantage of.
Again, you're free to play what ever you want or even create your own species, but make sure to check it by someone beforehand just as a precaution. Some species owners have different qualifications for their species.
IMPORTANT UPDATE [3/13/09]:
As of today this list will function exactly like the Names Taken. What does that mean? Well, if you don't put up a message here with a link to your breed, it's alliance, and it's activity status; then anyone is free to create a breed just like it.
Doesn't make sense? Lemme try and put it another way. If you don't put your breed here. You do not have dibs on the ideas created in it. Makes sense? If not PM me and I shall try to explain it better.
So make sure you 'claim' your breed up here when you make it - I won't be looking through the Character Profiles searching for new breeds. It's all up to you.
