I really wish people would co-exist with wolves instead of shooting them there an then and trapping them. Its so inhumane.
If their livestock wasn't free roaming then things would be a little different. They are only attacking their horses and deer but not the goats, sheep or people but thats only due to their natural prey are decreasing because of no food for them so the wolves have taking the easy way to feed. But maybe next year the wolves prey will be up again so they'll be hunting on that again...
From what I've studied for my wolf behaviour ranchers in America where trying out different methods to stop the wolves from attacking their live stock. Why cant the Siberian villigers take a leaf out from their book?
Wolf experts are saying that there had never been a 400-strong pack before coming together. it also doesn't help that they've put a £200 price on a wolfs pelt.
So what are your thougths/ideas?
